In line with the Government's plan for reopening the community, the board of Moldejazz decided on May 8 to conduct a festival in week 29. This will be a smaller version of the originally planned anniversary festival. Nonetheless, it'll be a memorable anniversary program with a number of commissioned works and premieres.
Due to the current ban on concerts with over 500 participants, and the uncertainties for this years festival, we have decided to reimburse all tickets sold so far.

8 young, promising bands are in the run for the title Young Jazz Musicians of the Year. During Moldejazz in July, one of the bands will be crowned the winner and win both the title and a launch package from the Norwegian Jazz Forum and the Gramo grant of NOK 150,000.
